The English word "billing" itself means "to present a bill" and it clearly defines the main function of the department. The department is engaged in the monthly processing of data received from the station and transfers it into printed bills format which then goes through the subscriber department.

The software of the department is realized on the packet of the Automated Control System (ACS) provided by the company GPT-Marconi (UK).
