The chief functions and tasks of the Economic Department are realization of AzEuroTel JV financial management, effective management of its financial resources, production reserve detection and use for the purpose of achieving the largest cost efficiency.
The department analyses the competitiveness of the company as a whole, as well as of all types of provided services in the telecommunication market, participates at the elaboration of the package plan of socio-economic development, provides communication services rate making.
The Economic Department pursues business researches including selection of marketing
research procedure, subscribers number calculation, monthly analysis of financial
statement, as well as financial performance of AzEuroTel JV and justification
of communication services market entry action. It draws a budget plan of the
company and controls its execution, enhancement of marketing efficiency, financial
resources saving, different documentation record efficiency, prepares and implements
(together with other departments) agreements concluded with juridical/natural
persons.
The department organizes the company's financial operation together with the
Accounting Department.
