AzEuroTel JV has completed testing of the equipment for providing subscribers with new up to 25 Mbit/s broadband communication services.
    After launching of this service, the Exchange 492/497 subscribers will obtain the constant switched high-speed access to Internet (the transmission speed to subscriber is up to 7,5 Mbit/s, from the subscriber is up to 1,5 Mbit/s), "Cable TV" service with the choice of up to 98 television channels as well as qualitative telephone service, both traditional and IP-telephony.
    All these services will be provided to the subscribers via one copper wire via which they are connected to the Automatic Telephone Exchange. Thus all these services can be simultaneously obtained.
    Also the interactive TV service (Video on demand) is at the introduction stage.
    In this connection the operations on reconstruction of the existing network to the broadband multiservice network are carried out. For this purpose a double optical link will be used where the DPT (Dynamic Packet Transport) technology will be applied that provides 2 x 2,5 Gbit/s bandwidth and allows to realize both traditional telephone and IP-telephony services.
    The corporative AzEuroTel JV clients will be offered the ETTH (Ethernet to home) solution - data, voice and video transmission via simple and inexpensive Ethernet network.
    The originality of the present service is that the usage of Ethernet with the fibre-optic as the transmission environment will allow to provide the Gigabit access via network directly from the client premises.
