Global ICT Conference “Digital Divide and Knowledge Economy: Problems and Solutions” opens in Baku at 25 of November 2004.
   There will be viewed the achievements, gained in field of Information Communication Technology (ICT) both state and private companies. The experience, directed to the ICT application in Azerbaijan, and also in other countries, is researched.
   Mr. Yoshio Utsumi, General Secretary of The Center of International Telecommunication Union (ITU), as well other 100 representatives from 40 countries all over the world, will take part in conference work.
General Director Mr. R.Safarov, Mr. S.Babayev the    Head of the Center of Information Technologies and Data Transmission, Mr. R.Tagiyev the Head of Broadband Services will represent AzEuroTel Company.
   The Conference proceeds with its work till 28.11.2004.
