Today, March 27-th, 2004 AzEuroTel JV has accomplished an equipment test to provide subscribers with a new service of broadband connection.
   After the implementation of this service, 492/497/437 Exchange subscribers will get a high speed switched Internet access (with transmission rate - up to 7 mbps toward subscriber and up to 1,5 mbps from subscriber), Satellite TV service with an option of up to 60 channels, as well as quality phone connection both traditional and IP-Telephony.
   All these services will be provided to subscribers via only copper wire, which connects subscribers with the Exchange. At the same time all these services can be provided simultaneously.
   Due to this event, the works on transition of existing narrow-band network to broadband multi-service network are carrying out. For this purpose double optical circuit will be used with application of DPT technology (Dynamic Packet Transport), that will support 2x2,5 bandwidth and allow to carry out both traditional and IP-Telephony services.
