International Exhibition ITU TELECOM 2000, the most significant event in telecommunication world has been held in Hong-Kong for a period from 4 to 9 December 2000. This exhibition collected the representatives from 77 countries under the shelter of Hong-Kong supermodern expocenter. Approximately 486 exhibition stands were visited by more then 50000 guests.
World and national leaders of telecommunication area were gathered in city - the center of international business and finances and where is an advanced telecommunication infrastructure - in order to discuss the issues concerning the future of telecommunication industry.
This exhibition was visited by delegation from «AzEuroTel» JV consisted of 11 experienced and young specialists presented such departments as Center of Information Technology, Satellite’s Terminals and Wireless System Service and Station Service. For the first time in Azerbaijan «AzEuroTel»’s management delegated the young engineers to this impressive Forum considering that this participation liberalizes them and allows to communicate with international telecommunication community.
Members of the delegation took an active part in various presentations of the leading firms such as Lucent Technologies, Siemens, Huawei Technologies, Nortel, Ericsson, Alcatel and other companies.
